Neither this blog nor the announced projects are dead – in fact I’m still alive. Unfortunately there was a big lack of time in the past few months that kept me away from updating the blog as well as working on the projects (yeah, I do have a regular job).
Be that as it may, there are a whole bunch of updates in the pipeline which will be released pretty soon – so stay tuned!
I have already ported Skype PlayingNow from Python to PERL and will soon release a new version that also supports more media players. The reason why I switched from Python to PERL is that I feel more convenient with PERL, which is a big advantage as it makes developing Skype PlayingNow easier for me.
